Write for us

Eastern Sports Network welcomes considered pitches and contributions about the sporting life of the East. We are interested in clear, original work that gives readers a useful way into a team, game, place, tradition or form of participation.

What we are looking for

Strong proposals have a defined subject, a reason it matters to regional readers and a clear angle that can be developed without relying on unsupported claims. We welcome explanatory features, cultural perspectives and carefully grounded accounts of sporting customs. Please tell us what the piece would help a reader notice or understand.

How to pitch

Use the Contact page to send a short proposal. Include a working title, a summary of the central idea, the category it might fit and a few lines about your approach. Mention any relevant sources or permissions the piece would depend on. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; we will discuss scope and terms before accepting commissioned work.

Originality and standards

Submissions should be original, carefully checked and written for a general reader. Disclose any relevant interests, permissions or material created with AI. We do not accept copied work, disguised advertising or claims presented as fact without a sound basis. Please do not send a complete unsolicited manuscript unless we have requested one.
