Eastern Sports Network aims to make regional sport easier to understand without pretending that every story has a single, settled reading. We distinguish explanation from opinion and take care with details that can be checked.

Accuracy and context

We check names, dates, descriptions and other factual details against suitable material before publication. When a claim is uncertain, disputed or dependent on context, we aim to say so rather than present an inference as a fact. Articles are written to inform, not to replace official competition information.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of partnership. Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not imply that we endorse every view, product or service associated with it.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and, when a correction is warranted, amend the article and make the change clear where appropriate. Updates that add context without changing an error may be made without being described as corrections.

Images and illustrations are selected to suit the subject and should not mislead readers about what happened. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is the case, they are identified as such. Illustrations are not evidence of an actual sporting event.
